You HAVE To Watch These Top Five Anime

As we head into the fall season of the year, we’re excited for new shows and our favorites coming back! As always, we’re always looking forward to introducing you to new things so we compiled a list of animes you have to watch.

We think that this is a perfect way to introduce you all into Japanese culture through their beautiful animations. We know that this year has taken a toll on all of us and sometimes we just need a good show to focus on. The Honey Pop is glad to bring you the list of the top five anime to watch on Crunchyroll this fall season!

  1. Haikyuu: Return To The Top 2nd Season

Adapted off the manga of the same name, Haikyuu has been airing as an anime since 2016. The sports anime follows the story of the volleyball team from Karsuno High School and their journey to redeem their former glamour. The second season of Return To The Top will follow the Karsuno High School team on their journey to nationals as well as the development of the teams. Return To The Top 2nd Season is the sequel to the third season of Haikyuu. You can stream the anime on Crunchyroll starting on October 2nd!

2. Noblesse

Noblesse is a South Korean manhwa that is being adapted into an anime by Crunchyroll. The highly-popular manhwa was one of the first manhwas to be translated into English back in 2014! The story plot follows the noble Cadis, known as Rai, trying to adjust to modern civilization after being asleep for 820 years. We’re loving the trend that Crunchyroll is doing by animating manhwas’ and introducing a whole new dynamic to the anime community. Noblesse is being streamed exclusively on Crunchyroll.

3. Jujutsu Kaisen!

We’ve been waiting to see Jujutsu Kaisen! animated! The story of Jujutsu follows a high schooler, Yuuji Itadori who gets involved with a sealed cursed object at school and his journey trying to figure things out. The highly-popular series is coming through life with the MAPPA which produced hits such as Yuri On Ice, Banana Fish, and more. We’re so excited to see Yuuji and his character come to life because he’s pretty awesome! You can stream the anime exclusively on Crunchyroll starting on October 2nd. 

4. Hanyo No Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi

A spin-off to the classic anime Inuyasha has arrived. Look, fans have been awaiting some new Inuyasha content for a long time and now we finally have it. The spin-off is focused on Sesshomaru’s twin daughters, Towa and Setsuna, and Inuyasha’s daughter, Moroha. The anime picks up six months after the events of The Final Act finale (episode 193) which originally aired March 29th, 2010. You can watch Hanyo No Yashahime on Crunchyroll starting on October 3rd

5. Kimetsu No Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen

Although not associated with Crunchyroll for this particular movie, Kimetsu No Yaiba is a Crunchyroll exclusive anime! The hot series is coming back to the screens but this time to the big screen! The film is set to be directly where the anime television series ended and will follow Tanjiro and Nezuko on a deadly battle on the train and their encounters with demons.

Alongside this, the Japanese artist LiSA is releasing a track exclusively for the movie. You can read more about LiSA here. Since it will be a movie, the international release will be in theatres in 2021. However, it will premiere in Japan in mid-October!
