Your Halloween Binge Material is Sorted Thanks To Your Faves!

Halloween is around the corner, and we’re spending all of October getting spooky. There’s nothing quite like grabbing some snacks, putting on comfy clothes and binging on some quality Halloween content. There are so many movies and TV shows to choose from that it can be a little overwhelming, so we’ve turned to some of our faves and the recommendations they have because let’s be honest, they have pretty trustworthy taste, right?

Ariana Grande

Ariana has a huge love for Halloween and scary movies as a whole, but one of the many movies she’s expressed her love for is Paranormal Activity 2! She loves how it mixes intense horror with manic humor, so you’re up for both a laugh and a fright – it’s a 2-for-1!

If there’s one TV show that BTS loves, it’s Stranger Things! The boys have often spoken about the show in several interviews and just in passing conversation, and even got pretty annoyed when V accidentally spoiled what one of the seasons were about – oops! But oh, how we’d love to see them dressed as the cast for Halloween. That would be everything!

Ashton Irwin

Not all Halloween content needs to be simply horrifying! Back in 2014, Ashton shared that his favorite was Scary Movie. “I enjoy [horror movies] that are kind of funny, you know like really bad horror movies that are funny because they are so bad.”

If you’re one that’s really into scary movies then perhaps Halsey’s choice is for you! Last year she went to see the terrifying horror movie Us. Taking to Twitter, she said the movie “was so awesome. I had a really bad cold when I saw it, and I was holding my breath from suspense and almost passed out like 3 times. Weirdly made it more fun. Peele is a mastermind. I can’t wait until 5 years from now when we’re all viciously debating our favorite Peele film.”

Monsta X

Monsta X came up with a unanimous decision for their choice of movie. When asked what the scariest movie they’ve seen was back in 2018, they answered with The Conjuring. Considering it was based on a true story, it’s all the more chilling!

Liam Payne

When asked on Instagram live what his favorite horror movie is, Liam replied with The Nun. The movie is a spin-off of The Conjuring 2 and the fifth installment from the Conjuring Universe franchise.

If you’re looking for a more family-friendly recommendation, then Yungblud has got your back because he absolutely loves the Harry Potter series! A popular choice, but all the more reason to watch, right?

Demi Lovato

Another Halloween enthusiast is Demi Lovato! Though if you’re looking for a non-fiction recommendation, back in 2016, they said that their favorite TV show was 48 Hours – a documentary-like TV show which investigates intriguing crime and justice cases.

Tomorrow X Together

When it comes to scary movies, the TXT boys are actually torn, with Taehyun saying he’s not very good with them and doesn’t really enjoy them. However, Yeonjun and Beomgyu say they’re pretty good with them. Speaking about the movie that really gave him the heebie-jeebies, Yeonjun says that The Mimic was “Unexpectedly scary. I heard that it was just a thriller, so I turned it on thinking I’d watch it comfortably, but I ended up jumping multiple times.” Jumpscare fans: this may be the one for you!

Selena Gomez

During the height of the 2020 quarantine, Selena shared on Instagram Live that she was on a horror movie binge list (after all, scary movies are for all year round, not just for Halloween!) and mentioned that Revenge was one she really enjoys. “Guys, this is like next level. This one I’m sure some of you guys have seen it, but this is a great movie, okay?”

According to The Vamps‘ Tristan, remakes are just as good as the originals! When asked to suggest a scary movie back in 2016, he eagerly answered with “The new Blair Witch Project. Woooah. It tackles every fear like claustrophobia, darkness and demonic possession. It’s very scary! And I’m a big critic of horror, they have to be right.” We’ll go grab our pillow, then.
