Here’s Why You Should Stick With Sinéad Harnett

Sinéad Harnett is quickly becoming one of our favorite artists, and she should be one of yours too. The North London born singer-songwriter is elegantly down to earth and has a beautiful voice to match. Even better, she’s just dropped the first single off her upcoming sophomore album ‘Stickin!’

The song features VanJess and Masego, so it’s packed to the brim with musical talent. ‘Stickin’ is full of slow beats, sumptuous vocals, and catchy melodies that give it a distinct Harnett groove.

When we were making the track it felt like summer to me, and I wanted to bring a little contrast to that lyrically. Often the people that most get on our nerves are the ones we’re closest to. The ones we’ll always stick by. I loved how VanJess made their own spin on that notion, and how Masego gave his side to the story in response.

It’s a track that certainly brings back a little bit of summer warmth as the days begin to grow shorter and colder. The music video is also a bright callback to the warmer months gone by, and we’re just so in love with the coloring too!

This single follows Harnett’s lockdown experiment ‘Quarantine Queen,’ and it perfectly sums up her artistry. We also love just how relatable she is when she shared what her writing process for the track was on her Instagram.

She truly has such a beautiful soul, and we can’t wait to hear her upcoming album, too. What’s your favorite song by Sinéad Harnett? What do you think of the music video? Let us know in the comments down below, or tweet us @TheHoneyPOP! You can also reach out to us on Instagram and Facebook!
