International DJ and multi-instrumentalist Jax Jones is back! He even said ‘I Miss U’ and now we’ve got another great song to dance to!
In the past he has joined forces to produce chart-toppers like ‘You Don’t Know Me’ featuring RAYE, ‘Harder’ featuring Bebe Rexha, ‘Instruction’ featuring Demi Lovato and Stefflon Don, ‘Ring Ring’ featuring Mabel, and ‘This Is Real’ featuring Ella Henderson. But this time the ‘I Miss U’ project is in collaboration with our girl Au/Ra via Polydor/Interscope Records.
Now you know we’ll dance around all day to Jax Jones mixes but ‘I Miss U’ offers up a different sound to his musical magic! With this new single, he returns to his underground and club roots. The beats in ‘I Miss U’ are colder, fleshed out with a harder bassline, and with Au/Ra’s distinctive voice, morphed to make a more club-ready tone! We see what you did there Jax Jones!
When it comes to dance music Jax Jones is a master. ‘I Miss U’ comes after the success of his debut album Snacks, which was deemed as the “best selling dance album” in 2019. With Snacks its 5 billion streams, 40 million single sales, and 2 billion video views, he became a nominated artist recognized by the Ivor, BRIT, and GRAMMY Awards.
But to us and other fans, he is known as a pioneer that redefined dance music! So like we said with ‘I Miss U’ we see his skill to craft tunes that can transcend in both the mainstream radio and underground channels!
