8 Songs By Labrinth That You Need On Your Playlist!

There is no one on the scene quite like the musical genius that is Labrinth. The multi-talented performer continues to push boundaries in his music, taking us to places we never been before. We have scoured his diverse back catalog to bring you a selection of must-hear songs that your playlist would be thankful for.

Let The Sun Shine

Let’s take it right back to the beginning with his debut single released back in September 2010. The catchy groove just exudes such positivity and happiness with it unsurprisingly charted at #3 in the UK charts.

As the opening line of “Labrinth, come in” kicked in, little did we know he was about to take us on a musical journey.  Cleverly written and produced by the man himself, the loud and experimental track really highlights Lab’s production skills and is only made sweeter by an electrifying verse from rapper Tinie Tempah.

Released as the fifth single from his debut album Electronic Earth, the guitar-driven ‘Treatment’ is a different sound from what we’ve heard from the performer and we approve.

Sweet Riot

As an unreleased album track, we think that this never got the attention it fully deserved. One for the “moshpit generation” this is a cool and bass-thumping track made to kick-start any celebration.

If you had any tissues leftover from listening to the beautiful “Beneath Your Beautiful” which Lab and Emeli Sande topped the charts within 2012, then you might want to hold on tight to them for this next one.  This gorgeous 2014 single resonated with lovers worldwide and the heart wrenching lyrics as well as vocal delivery will have you in your feels.

‘All For Us’

If you’re a fan of the American TV Series Euphoria then you might recognize this song right here. A reworked version of the haunting “All For Us” which featured Zendaya appeared in the season finale, and as lead composer for the series Lab won a million new hearts with his captivating creations. This masterpiece right here won him an Emmy for ‘Outstanding Music & Lyrics’ and here we bring you the stunning solo version.

‘Dotted Line/Juju Man’

Last November Labrinth dropped his sophomore album Imagination & The Misfit Kid. Allow us to go on a little rant but the album did not get the recognition it deserves. A musical chameleon-like Lab deserves all his stripes and is a testament to his artistry that explores different sounds within the record.

This is by far one of our favorite songs of his career so far with the innovative mesh of Electro Funk and Soul combined with the important underlying message of the track.

‘No Ordinary’

Escapism. That’s the general feeling when listening to this epic track released just weeks ago as part of the Power Your Dreams Campaign by Xbox Series X.

The dreamy vibe of the track as well as Lab’s ethereal vocals will transport you to a world full of pure bliss.
