5 Ways To Host A Virtual Halloween Party

Don’t let this years stay-at-home spook fest get you down! Here are five ways you can host a virtual Halloween party, right from your couch.

Among Us Game Night

We’re sure you’ve heard of the addicting game taking the world by storm. Rally your friends up and get those detective skills out to play a night’s worth of Among Us! To make it even more fun, hop on a Zoom call with your friends so you can talk to each other when voting, and even better yet- dress up as your avatar for the occasion!

Netflix Movie Marathon

Just because you can’t scare your friends irl doesn’t mean you can’t scare them over the phone! Fire up Facetime, Zoom or Skype and have a Netflix horror movie marathon. You can either all attempt to play the same film at the same time, or use Chrome extension Netflix Party which allows everyone to watch the same film at the same time, even including a chatbox!

Murder Mystery Party

Give Sherlock Holmes a run for his money and solve a case together like real detectives! Grab an unsolved case file here, fire up a Zoom call and have everyone look through the evidence to figure out who the murderer is. There are two free cases up for grabs on the unsolved case files website here and here. For even more fun- dress up as detectives!

Kahoot Quizzes

Did you know you can use Kahoot for fun instead of for work during your Zoom classes? Find some Halloween themed quizzes on iconic Horror films, or the history of Halloween and try and beat each other out! This can be super fun, especially when played on a Zoom call.

Costume Contest

Just because Halloween this year is a little different, doesn’t mean you can’t dress up! Have a costume contest over Facetime, Zoom or Skype with your friends, with prizes up for grabs! Maybe the winner gets a head-start on one of the other activities planned, or perhaps even a gift voucher! See who the King or Queen of virtual Halloween is!
