‘I Got So High That I Saw Jesus’ Featuring Miley
No surprise, but the track is everything we dreamed of! Previously, the song was a solo project of Noah, but we get this new live recording! The Cyrus sisters kill it right away with those beautiful harmonies that continue in the chorus throughout its duration. The piano softly comes in, taking the form of a ballad following with Noah’s angelic voice. Between the harmonies and the sister’s voices, the song evokes raw emotion, especially in the lyrics, “I got so high that I saw Jesus (oh, yeah)/ He said it’s all gonna be okay (all gonna be) You just need me in your heart.” Wow, we got the chills!
The Cyrus sisters also performed ‘I Got So High That I Saw Jesus’ in Miley’s Backyard Sessions for MTV! We can’t get enough of this track! It’s so good!
Other than releasing the gorgeous ‘I Got So High That I Saw Jesus‘ with Miley, Noah has been a busy bee! Earlier this year we got her eight-track EP The End Of Everything via Records/Columbia Records! We also got word that Noah will be releasing her very first debut album coming soon!
