lovelytheband Shares Important Message With ‘Heartbreak of America’

Lovelytheband has released a new song, titled ‘Heartbreak of America.’ This song touches on some of the current problems in our country, including gun violence, the upcoming presidential election, drug abuse and more. The song was co-written by Mark Foster of band Foster the People. We here at The Honey Pop feel like this song gives a voice to the frustrations that the American people are feeling. You can stream the song here!

“The song was written from a shared feeling of uncomfortable complacency. Cultural insensitivity should be unacceptable in America or anywhere else in the world. If this song even motivates one person to be kinder to themselves or their neighbor, or to get out and vote, it has served its purpose.”

Mitchy Collins, lead singer

‘Heartbreak of America’ follows lovelytheband’s sophomore album conversations with myself about you, which was released August 28th of this year. You can read more about that album here! Converstations with myself about you has now reached more than 7.7 million streams, and we’re not surprised; it’s an amazing project.

The band kicked off 2020 with their first single from that album, titled ‘loneliness for love,’ which debuted at #34 on the alternative radio charts. Sounds like LovelyTheBand is having quite a lovely year!
