Action game fans rejoice! The amazing Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is releasing on Next-Gen systems this week. They brought along some great new features. Players can enable increased frame rates of up to 120 frames per second, play in 4K fidelity mode on Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles, and fight in the amazing lighting and reflections available with ray tracing.

To us, the most exciting thing about this release to most players though will be the inclusion of everyone’s favorite brooding brother Vergil as a playable character. Vergil is the older brother of franchise main character Dante. You can play Devil May Cry 5 missions with “Vergil Mode” that allows you to play the game as Vergil. The new addition of the Elder Son of Sparda, adds a new move set along the already included Dante, Nero, and V.

Some other new features include the new difficulty mode Legendary Dark Knight. This new mode adds an amount of enemies never before seen in the franchise. This gives you even more baddies to kill and get that score up to an S+!
The new version of Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is out now on Xbox Series X/S and November 12th for Play Station 5! The Vergil content will be out December 15th for all players on other systems for $4.99 on Xbox One and Steam.
