10 Black Eyed Peas Songs You Need On Your Playlist!

The first thing that will come to your mind when we say The Black Eyed Peas is their 2003 mega-hit ‘Where Is The Love!’ One of the greatest and most important pop songs of all time for sure, but what about the rest of their music?

With eight studio albums and a career spanning decades, it’s a fact that the group has a lot of gems in their musical catalogue. Here, we list 10 songs of theirs that we think you need to be listening to – some you may be more familiar with than others.

‘Joints & Jam’

Let’s take it right back to the start with this one. This was the second single released from their 1998 debut¬†Behind The Front. The trio’s started as a no-frills, socially conscious hip-hop collective.

‘Weekend’

The trio linked up with the soulful Esthero for the lead single from sophomore album Bridging The Gap. A feel-good jam that you should play every weekend tbh.

‘Shut Up’

‘Shut Up’ was released as the second single from their third album Elephunk, which marked Fergie’s first record as a member. This absolute bop was an international success topping 12 European countries and charting at No. 2 in the UK.

‘Pump It’

No Black Eyed Peas playlist is complete without this energetic Monkey Business single. If you’re lucky enough to have seen the group perform, you’ll know how hard this song goes live.

‘I Gotta Feeling’

‘I Gotta Feeling’ you may know this track taken from The E.N.D. That staple anthem for any birthday, graduation, anniversary, you name it! It’s unsurprising that such a euphoric track made such a statement worldwide, holding the record as iTunes most downloaded song of all time.

‘Missing You’

The electro inspired ‘Missing You’ was a fan favorite and the single that we all deserved.

‘Constant Pt. 1 Pt. 2’

Possibly the most underrated single ever. With their seventh album Masters Of The Sun Vol. 1, the trio returned to their roots and, armed with vocalist Jessica Reynoso – created a quality body of work that combined their authentic hip-hop roots with their new school sound. ‘Constant’ is one of their finest pieces of work.

‘Back 2 Hip Hop’

One for the hip-hop heads – the guys linked with the legendary Nas for this fire tune.

‘Mamacita’

This catchy ‘Mamacita’ is the second single from the group’s current album Translation. The track heralded their new latin inspired sound of this era and the addition of Ozuna and Ms. J Rey Soul made it a global hit.

Vida Loca

BEP continue their explosion with the shapeshifting ‘Vida Loca’ featuring Nicky Jam and Tyga. The infectious number samples MC Hammer’s ‘U Can’t Touch This’ and is guaranteed to have you living your best life.
