Fit for Royalty

It’s been 39 years of Queen’s Greatest Hits and it has reigned on the 200 Chart for 413 weeks, snagging the eighth spot after previously riding in no. 36. But 2020 also has proved successful for the nine-time platinum album which took the celebratory first spot of Billboard’s Vinyl Albums Chart after two weeks of big sales! However, this is not the only time the iconic compilation has peaked. It landed no. 11 on the same chart in 1992.

The Greatest Hits is one of nine top ten selling albums for Queen, remaining the best-selling album in the UK alone. It among other iconic top ten Queen albums such as Bohemian Rhapsody Soundtrack (No. 2 in 2019), Greatest Hits I, II & III: The Platinum Collection (No. 6, 2019), Classic Queen (No. 4, 1992), The Game (No. 1, 1980), Jazz (No. 6, 1979), News of the World (No. 3, 1978), A Day at the Races (No. 5, 1977) and A Night at the Opera (No. 4, 1976).

Regalia for the Special Occasion

The rock royalty recently teamed up with Target and Walmart for two exclusives of the Greatest Hits vinyl. Fans have a choice to pick their favorite design of the 2-disc, 180 gram LPs between the ruby blend marble or the white version. We have our eyes on both for our wish list this year!

Queen’s Greatest Hits highlights the most iconic rock songs we know and love from the symphonic and most globally streamed ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and to the stadium crushing ‘We Are The Champions’ and ‘We Will Rock You.’ The album also features the insanely popular ‘Another One Bites The Dust,’ the retro-rock homage ‘Crazy Thing Called Love’ and one of our personal favorites, the Gospel inspired ‘Somebody To Love.’
