This gave us enough reason to pick our favorites from the album to recommend to you for your holiday playlist! As the album features a combination of beloved traditional favorites celebrating the spiritual nature of the holiday, as well as several new originals, the choice was very hard!

‘Hallelujah’ is an original song, that was written by John Legend and Toby Gad. And we got the music video for this beautiful track on November 21st! We have been obsessing over this one since it dropped and can’t get over how spiritual and unique this song is. Also, Carrie looks like an absolute angel! Furthermore, the combination of the singer’s voices is magical. Side note: John Legend will also be a special guest on Underwood’s new music special My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood, which will be available to stream on HBO Max starting Thursday, December 3rd. So get ready for more of this power duo!

‘Let There Be Peace’

‘Let There Be Peace’ was written by Carrie Underwood, Brett James, and David Garcia. And we love how amazing this song is! The song has a gospel choir backing up Carrie and it makes this song even more magical!

‘Little Drummer Boy’

Now, this track is an absolute-classic song when it comes to Christmas and should be added to your playlist immediately. Carrie Underwood’s version is made unique by the fact that Carrie’s son Isaiah Fisher is featured on the song. That is absolutely endearing and we can’t get over it.

‘O Holy Night’

‘O Holy Night’ is another Christmas classic and is made unique by Carrie’s unbelievable voice! This song suddenly feels even more beautiful and is at the top of our favorite versions of this song! This song can’t be missing from your playlist!

‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’

Oh, we have come to our favorite Christmas song! ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ is a song that will soothe your soul every time you hear it and Carrie Underwood really made this classic her own! It is even more magical than any other version and will be on replay the entire Christmas season!
