Baby Goth recently dropped her single, ‘B OK’ featuring Slim Jxmmi from Rae Sremmurd and if this song isn’t a life motto, we don’t know what is.
Continuing to teeter between genres Baby Goth shows she’s not planning to define her sound anytime soon while still making a track that still sounds so iconic-ly her.
“I pick myself back up, then I’ma be okay”
Singing the lyrics everyone needs to hear right now, this collaboration gives an upbeat look at bouncing back and assuring yourself that things are going to be alright.
Slim Jxmmi’s verse offers a smooth delivery of the message of not slowing down and making it to the top. Reminding us that if we grind, we’ll get there.
The video, co-directed by Baby Goth and Alan Be, shows Baby Goth being adorable as always, as she and Slim Jxmmi vibe around different vintage settings and in different decade-inspired outfits. The editing of the footage also helps to give it an aged look, really pulling the whole thing together.
This is Baby Goth’s third single released this year following ‘I Do’ and ‘Afterparty’ which amassed over one million streams, and at the rate she’s going we’re praying for a full album soon!
