The musical genius that is Kid Cudi surprised us all in the best way possible with the announcement of Man On The Moon III. The performer’s highly anticipated seventh solo album will be released this Friday. The 18-track record is divided into four acts and features collaborations with Phoebe Bridgers, Trippie Redd, and Pop Smoke Skepta.
If you are a fan of Cudi, you would know that he is one of a kind and always puts his heart and soul into the music he makes. He has created his sound, and the artistry he shows has made him a popular culture icon not just among fans but also among his peers. Cudders sat down with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe to discuss the album in detail alongside topics such as suffering from anxiety and working with his peers like Kanye, Eminem, and Travis Scott. One of the most anticipated tracks on the record is ‘Show Out,’ which features both UK giant Skepta and the late Pop Smoke.
Speaking about it in the interview, he revealed that the track had started as a collab between the two before he decided to jump on it after producer Dot Da Genius played it
I was like, “Nobody’s ever heard me on anything like this. Skepta sounds amazing. Pop Smoke sounds amazing. Like this would be so unexpected: I think I can be on this and I could hold it down and like do my thing.” And this is also another way I can, you know showcase these bars.
