Allow us to educate you for those who aren’t aware of the incredible Scotty Sire. Scotty is a musician and YouTuber who got his start on vine! He makes solo videos, as well as collaboration videos with his friend group, which everyone knows as the Vlog Squad.
With the release of Scotty’s newest song, ‘25 Christmas Trees,’ featuring his friend Toddy Smith, we get everything we’ve ever wanted out of a Christmas song. Upon first listen, you can automatically tell it has a Pop-Punk influence, which makes us so giddy. In our opinion, Pop-Punk and Christmas music are likewise to peanut butter and jelly. It’s just facts.
The lyrics to this are actually quite sweet. “I used to be such a grinch until I found my Cindy-Lou” is already utterly adorable, and then he goes and adds “My heart grew three sizes thanks to you.” A nod to a classic holiday film (The Grinch), while also making us feel forever alone.
While this is Toddy’s first Christmas song, this isn’t Scotty Sire’s first rodeo! Scotty, along with other members of the Vlog Squad, Heath Hussar and Mariah Amato, released a track called ‘Lonely Christmas.’ Both songs are must listen to staples on our Christmas playlists from here on out.
Aside from releasing a single this week, Scotty had even more news that we had to celebrate! He got signed to a record label! We truly love to see it, and we couldn’t be any happier for him!
