Reading the credits for this song is proof of why Joshua has been so successful; he plays every instrument on the song and sings all the background vocals. ‘Only A Matter Of Time’ is a beautiful song, and after seeing Joshua say it was written when he had an unhealthy relationship with social media, it makes us love it even more. Social media can be a wonderful thing, however especially for people with a platform like Joshua’s; it can be extremely toxic.

The lyrics to this song are so good! ‘But why would you makе your pain mine?’ is a heartbreaking line, especially considering the song’s context. His voice in this track is crazy! The notes he hits put him in an elite class of singers.

The simplicity of the music video is stunning! We are simping so hard rn. He couldn’t be cuter. We are pretty sure that this video was shot in Utah as Joshua is there filming High School Musical: The Musical: The SeriesJust having the camera on his face with the background that looks like a small-town street behind him adds to this song’s vulnerability.

Joshua is set to release his debut ep on February 26th! We certainly can’t wait to check it out and will be sure to cover it for all of you!
