No, that’s not a clickbait title. The multi-platinum selling artist and DJ, Kygo, is actually going to perform on a mountain top in Norway. And you? You get to watch it from the safety of your home! We’re beyond excited about this.
Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll first introduced himself in 2013 and has quietly become one of the world’s biggest hitmakers. With over 15 billion streams across platforms, he has broken numerous streaming records. One of his biggest hits, ‘It Ain’t me’ featuring Selena Gomes, reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and got nearly 1 billion streams on Spotify.
In 2019 Kygo took on ‘Higher Love’ by Whitney Houston and put his spin on the Classic. The result was another 1 billion combined streams and a peak at #1 on Dance Radio. His third full-length album Golder Hour released in 2020, got rave reviews and became a fan favorite with hits like ‘Like It Is’ with Zara Larson, ‘Lose Somebody’ with One Republic, and ‘I’ll Wait’ with Sasha Sloan.
Following Golden Hour’s success, Kygo decided to take on yet another two classics, Tina Turner’s ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ and Donna Summer’s ‘Hot Stuff’, to overwhelmingly positive reviews.
