P!NK and Willow Sage Hart bring Sunshine into our Lives

We’ve been seeing an uptick in escapist art and media recently, and P!nk and her daughter, Willow Sage, have given us a beautiful song that snugly fits into that category. Not only are the lyrics of ‘Cover Me In Sunshine’ gorgeous descriptions of nature’s beauty and resilience, but the accompanying video will no doubt transport you to your happy place.

Among wide rolling hills and wildflowers blowing in the breeze, P!nk and Willow ride horses, climb trees, and dance by a lake. If the song alone doesn’t make you smile, Willow’s adorable antics definitely will. Everything about this mother-daughter duet conjures up fuzzy feelings of warmth, love, and happiness, and you can experience it too, right here:

Don’t you feel so relaxed right now? Maybe you want to run through a field of flowers or bask in the sunlight. If so, P!nk and Willow have accomplished what they set out to do. Taking to Twitter, P!nk introduced the song saying, “We hope that the song makes you feel happy.” She also meant for it to feel like “A big old hug and kiss,” which is why they released it so close to Valentine’s day. We know we definitely feel incredibly loved right now.

Speaking on the song, P!nk also said, “This past year has been so many things for us. Sad, lonely, scary, yes. It’s also been quiet, reflective, and a great teacher. Willow and I find comfort in music, so we’re putting this song out for no other reason than that we hope it brings you, sweetness, sunshine, and comfort, too.” – P!nk
