CJ Drops Debut EP Loyalty Over Royalty

The ‘Whoopty’ Rapper just made his official introduction into the hip-hop industry earlier with his debut EP, Loyalty Over Royalty. CJ has been making a lot of noise in the beginning of his rap career, as his single ‘Whoopty’ went viral on TikTok. The song was originally released in July of 2020, but after signing a deal with Warner Records, it was re-released. This worked out perfectly for CJ as the single continued to rise on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. The buzz around the Staten Island rapper grew even bigger this year, so CJ decided it was time to show the world that he’s not stopping at one hit— and he did just that!

At The Honey POP, we enjoy listening to fresh new artists and with this EP, CJ gave us bop after bop. In an interview with Hot New Hip-Hop, CJ explained why he decided not to have many features on his debut EP. He wanted his supporters to see what he has to offer to the industry. CJ does have one feature on Loyalty Over Royalty though, and it’s French Montana! French is featured on ‘I’m Lit’ and, honey, it’s definitely another hit. Here’s the track list for the EP:

2. ‘Set’
4. ‘Whoopty’
5.’I’m Lit featuring French Montana’
6. ‘Goin’ Up’
7. ‘Real One’
8. ‘Outro’
