International Women’s Day? More like Zara Larsson day! Zara Larsson has announced a one-off global online concert on March 8, 2021. The event will be held on YouTube, and she will be working alongside the iconic Swedish business, Ikea, who is creating the backdrop for the show. Presented by Live Nation, this live-stream will air exclusively on Zara’s YouTube at 6 PM PST/9 PM EST.
Get To Know Zara Larsson
You might have heard about Zara from her first international album, So Good, which became the second most-streamed debut by a female artist on Spotify. She has many chart-topping hits, including ‘Ruin My Life,’ ‘Never Forget You,’ and ‘I Would Like.’ She has been nominated for four BRIT Awards and amassed a growing community of six million followers on Instagram. Although Zara is only 23 years old, she is an accomplished vocalist, live performer, and world-class dancer. We have been fans of Zara for a long time and are stoked about this new era of hers. Her latest single, ‘Talk About Love’ is on her new album Poster Girl, and features Young Thug. The song was created to be listened to in immersive 360 Reality Audio, and although this is something we haven’t seen before, we cannot wait to see what other artists do with this new technology!
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Zara Larsson to surprise fans with the first performance of her new album. Stay tuned for more news on how we will be using Zara’s voice and passion for female empowerment to help make homes more equal this International Women’s Day.”

Not Just A Poster Girl
Zara Larsson’s newest album, Poster Girl, will be released on March 5th, right before her concert on International Women’s Day. This album is a follow-up to her previous album, So Good, and is a deeply personal album. For her performance on March 8th, Zara will be bringing Poster Girl to life for the first time, while also performing some of her older hits. The International Women’s Day show will have multiple environments, created by Ikea, for Zara to perform in that reveal the exploration of all sides of herself.
“I am so excited to collaborate with Ikea on this performance on International Women’s Day. I have always felt so passionately about equality and I’m excited to dedicate my first show in over a year to all the amazing women around the world. I have missed performing live so much during this time I hope my band, dancers and I can bring some sparkle and fun to your homes.”
