If you love artists like Halsey and Billie Eilish, you will love Issey Cross. She’s this crazy cool Alt-Pop artist that we can’t get enough of.

Her newest drop, ‘Boys Make Promises,’ is a song that rings all too true. We can’t count how many times we’ve heard the stories of promises in relationships being broken, but even though that’s a sad situation Issey Cross tells that story beautifully. She sings in this song in a way where you can hear the emotion in her voice. And, while we’re on the topic of her voice, we just have to say, wow! Issey Cross has some pipes that could make even the saddest situation something you keep wanting to hear about.

It’s songs like ‘Boys Make Promises’ that make careers. It’s going to be a song that everyone looks back on when she blows up and sees that the star power has always been there. For not having a lengthy discography, it’s beyond impressive that something at this leave was able to be put out. Can we get a round of applause for Issey Cross?

The video for ‘Boys Make Promises’ further pushes our narrative of Issey Cross appealing to Billie Eilish fans. This video is crazy good. It’s so visually pleasing with so many different setups and uses of color. Her emoting in this video is on point. You can certainly tell the song is important to her. All it takes is closely watching her face during this video to realize that.
