Here’s What To Expect From Grimes’ WarNymph Art Exhibit!

Grimes has announced she’ll be releasing ten exclusive pieces of artwork on February 28th for a limited time. As if we weren’t already obsessed with her edgy music and insane fashion sense, we are reeling over this announcement. If you’re like us here, at The Honey POP, we love a good trail-blazing art moment!

The anticipation builds for the release of her first collection, as Grimes partners with Nifty Gateway, a leading platform where digital items are sold and displayed online. The exhibition will focus on ten artworks centered around her digital persona, WarNymph. Along with the art pieces, a video with original music created for the project will accompany the launch. Grimes first introduced us to WarNymph during her pregnancy, stating it as a form of self-reinvention, particularly during such an evolving time in her life.

“Through the character of WarNymph, Grimes explores the fluidity of identity in the virtual age,” Maccarone Art Gallery stated. “The ability to create, augment, and splinter ourselves into unlimited avatars.” We already love Grimes for her authenticity and dedication to the arts, so we’re excited to see how she’ll channel that into her exhibit!

Grimes has also partnered with the non-profit organization, Carbon180, which concentrates on reducing carbon emissions. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to help the cause! The artwork launches Sunday, February 28th, exclusively on Nifty Gateway, 2 PM EST.

Make sure you check out the exhibit here!
