This Is Us Freaking Out Over Voyagers New Trailer

Okay, so, 2021, the year with some very high expectations after the disastrous 2020 we had, and one of the areas we’re all looking forward to are movies and TV shows. So many things got delayed because of Covid last year, but at least it means more content for this year. One of those movies we are all freaking out over? Voyagers.

Originally, Voyagers was supposed to hit theatres in November (and we all know how that went), However, the Sci-Fi adventure now has a new release date: April 9th, 2021. And we have a new trailer too!

So, lots to unpack in that trailer. Firstly, the cast. With names like Ty Sheridan (X-Men franchise), Colin Farrel, and Lily-Rose Depp (Savage), there’s no way this movie will be anything less than a hit. Secondly, we need to talk about the direction Neil Burger (writer and director) decided to take the movie: instead of the classic space voyage we’ve seen so many times, Voyagers will take us into what would happen (probably) if you took 30 young people and sent them into space. Everything seems fine for the crew, they’re all doing okay, just looking for a new home for the human race. That is… until they start figuring out there’s some strange stuff happening. Soon enough, fear, lust, and power hunger take control of the characters and chaos ensues.

Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk), Chanté Adams (Roxanne, Roxanne), Isaac Hempstead Wright, Archie Madekwe (Midsommar), Viveik Kalra (Blinded by the Light), Quintessa Swindell (Euphoria), and Madison Hu (Bizaardvark) are also on the cast with Sheridan, Depp, and Farrel. We only see stars here.
