About Emma

If you aren’t a frequent viewer of YouTube creators, you might not have heard about Emma Blackery. She first came on the scene back in 2012, where she started out making vlogs, comedy skits, and music videos. She has then gone on to release six EPs, countless singles, and one full-length album called Villains, which peaked at No. 24 on the UK charts.

New Single, ‘Crying’

‘Crying’ is the second single off of Emma’s upcoming EP that will be released later this year. We get major After Laughter by Paramore vibes from the song and the video. Emma is one of the few singer-songwriter YouTubers that has been able to consistently create music that is authentic to her. A lot of YouTubers will cater to what is popular, but Emma has grown into her songwriter skills. We love to see it!

‘Cause they don’t wanna see me cry
They just wanna see me smile all the time
And they don’t wanna see me sad
What could possibly make my life so bad?

– ‘Crying’ by Emma Blackery

This song showcases the new era that Emma is going into and in the video, you can just tell how happy and excited she is! We get major emo vibes (which we love!) and cannot wait to see what else is in store for her.
