Justin Bieber has been in the industry for over a decade now, and throughout that time, he has been involved with many charities. Here are just a few of the times that he has publicly helped others with his charitable heart!
Propeller for Justice
For his album release on March 19, Justin has teamed up with Propeller to give a lucky fan the experience of a lifetime. The album is called Justice, and they felt it was fitting to team up and support some causes that are putting justice into action. Fans can go to the Propeller website and donate to a variety of causes to win a pair of floor tickets to Justin’s upcoming 2022 tour. While also receiving an Epiphone Hummingbird Artist guitar signed by Justin, and win $500 to spend on Justice merch!
The nonprofits that will benefit from this partnership are Alexandria House, Anti-Recidivism Coalition, Baby2Baby, Equal Justice Initiative, LIFT Los Angeles, Poor People’s Campaign, Self Help Graphics & Art, The Compton Pledge, The King Center, and This Is About Humanity. As Justin said in the announcement on Twitter, all of these organizations “embody what justice looks like in action.”
Take action and donate to one of these causes today by going to the Propeller website here!
When he cut his hair… for charity!
Back in 2011, Justin had cut his iconic, swoopy hair. After cutting off his locks, he went on the Ellen show and gifted her one of the cut pieces. She went on to sell it for a whopping $40,000 for charity! Although we missed his swoopy hair, we loved that one of his locks raised money for a good cause.
He has granted the second most Make-A-Wish dreams out of any celebrity
Justin has been granting wishes since the beginning of his career. He was named one of the most honorary supporters of the Make-A-Wish foundation. He has granted a total of 260 wishes, with hopes to raise that number even higher in the future. On his Purpose tour, he granted a wish in almost every city that he traveled to and continues to grant wishes even on his busiest days.
He teamed up with Chance the Rapper to donate $250K to those in need
This past year, Justin and Chance teamed up to help those who are struggling during these difficult times. They partnered with Cash App to donate $250,000 to their fans that are struggling with the pandemic. Fans flooded their Twitter accounts with their story, cash app handle, and the hashtag #JBChanceHoly.
Justin donated $100K to a fan’s mental health charity!
In early 2020, Justin was in New York City for a promotional appearance for his Changes album. He saw that one of his fans was raising money for mental health awareness and donated a total of $100,000 to their cause. Justin has been public with his struggles with his mental health, and his donation just shows that he truly cares about the issue and the love he has for his fans.
