So, we know you’ve been jamming out to the album Ok Human by Weezer since January. But, can you imagine hearing this album live AND accompanied by an orchestra?! For instance, what better way to hear their intimate album with bangers like ‘All My Favorite Songs’ from the comfort of your living room? Thankfully, we don’t have to imagine anymore.
Weezer will be live streaming this album at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA. They’ll be joined by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles). Just thinking about orchestra takes us back to our band geek days in middle school.
Most importantly, this announcement comes just in time to alleviate the quarantine blues (can you believe we’ve been doing this for a year now?). This album encapsulates all the socially distancing feels during this- panorama? Parabola? Panera Bread? Pandemic? Be sure to watch this virtual show on April 16 for U.S. and April 17 for Asia/Australia/Europe/UK. No need to wait in a long line at a venue, grab your best friends/mates/amigos, and purchase your tickets here, presented by NoCap.

Weezer will perform Ok Human, however, they’re giving us fans the gift of performing their classics, too. We don’t know about you, but we could use some, ‘Island In The Sun,’ right about now.

Weezer And Metal Album Tribute
The news just keeps getting better and better. Lastly, the anticipated Van Halen-inspired album, Van Weezer, will be released on May 7th, 2021, as a homage to classic metal. We’ll be looking forward to this one to help bandage some wounds. RIP Eddie Van Halen.

Which song are you most excited about hearing live from this album? Or, are you nostalgic for fan favorites? Were you a former band geek, too? Let us know in the comments below or by tweeting us @TheHoneyPOP! You can also reach out to us on Facebook and Instagram!
