5 J Balvin Collabs We Love To Celebrate ‘Otra Noche Sin Ti’!

J Balvin

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know we here at The Honey Pop love Latin music. And we also love collabs, because it means two great artists in a single song. So, in light of J Balvin releasing ‘Otra Noche Sin Ti’ with Khalid, we decided to make a list of our top 5 collabs the Colombian king of reggaeton has done. And let us tell you, it was hard to choose.

‘Otra Noche Sin Ti’

Obviously, this would become an instant favourite of ours. J Balvin and Khalid are musically different artists, but that’s part of what makes this song so good. It mixes J Balvin’s reggaeton and rap roots with Khalid’s more R&B vibe, and the result is beautiful. And no one can sing about the feeling of missing an ex like these two together.

‘Mi Gente’

J Balvin really has a gift for finding the perfect person to bring to each collab, and ‘Mi Gente’ was no exception. Willy William’s style paired great with J Balvin’s, and together they created that one song we want to dance to at every party ever. And if that wasn’t enough, they also have a version of this song with Beyoncé. Iconic!

2018 was a great year for music. And this song by J Balvin and Liam Payne is proof of that. ‘Familiar’ is one of the best songs in both artists’ discographies and, just like ‘Otra Noche Sin Ti’, it mixes Spanish and English effortlessly (seriously, we had to listen to it twice to notice they switch languages) and it gives off those awesome party vibes we love.

‘I Like It’

Remember when we said 2018 was great for music? ‘I Like It’ came out that same year, further proving our thesis. Cardi B is known for many things, one of which is putting Latin influences in her songs, and what better way to do so than to bring J Balvin and Bad Bunny along for the ride? Rap and reggaeton work so well together in this song, it’s unreal!

A 100% Latin American track to close this list. Anitta and J Balvin have a handful of collaborations because they love working together, but their 2017 song ‘Downtown’ still holds a special place in our hearts. It’s also proof that these two need to make as much music together as possible because they never miss!
