Guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Allow us to introduce you to your next musical obsession! From straight out of Seattle, Washington, Anna Thompson is the pop star of our damn dreams.
She’s a complete breath of fresh air in the industry and makes such insanely good music that we don’t know how we lived without it in our lives prior to now.
There truly must be something in the water in Seattle because some of the most extraordinary musical talents have come out of there! Just look at the likes of Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, and Pearl Jam! And now, right along in that conversation, you have the up-and-coming pop star, Anna Thompson.
Like so many rising stars, Anna Thompson has found a loyal following on the app TikTok. The power of the app shouldn’t be doubted! It’s helped skyrocket the careers of some of the biggest stars in the world like Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion just purely because of dances that were made to their hits ‘Say So’ and ‘Savage.’ We have no doubt that with the following Anna Thompson has built off the app, she will go far.
Her latest single, ‘Dreams About Him,’ comes from her EP Centerpiece, which you can stream right now, right here! We are beyond ready to dive headfirst into this track with you guys!

This music video is straight out of our pastel dreamland. We simply can’t get over how well the colors work together.
And, of course, we have to gush about the track! It’s so relatable and lyrically strong. We automatically connected with it and felt like so many people will latch on to ‘Dreams About Him.’
That feeling of being with someone and feeling such immense guilt for even thinking of a past partner is all too real. But it’s a supernormal thing to think about your past. It’s normal but feels like something we shouldn’t ever allow to happen.
We love that Anna Thompson took that guilt and confusion about having reoccurring dreams about an ex while in a happy relationship, and made it into this bright pop track.
