Are you a fan of Reality TV? We’re fans of Reality TV! Let’s sit and talk about it for a while! So now that we’re here, answer this question: do you like shows like Shark Tank? If you answered yes, we need to tell you about Unicorn Hunters. This business-oriented show premieres on Monday, May 10th, and will be all about entrepreneurs convincing some very big names that their businesses are the next “unicorn” of their field (quick explanation before we move on: a “unicorn” is a business worth over $1 billion). Ok, now, onto the interesting part!
How’s The Show Going To Work?
Before talking to the “Circle of Money,” as the expert panel members are called, the founders have the chance to pitch their ideas to the audience before anyone else. In turn, viewers have the chance to invest in the companies if they want to. How cool is that? Also, we’re betting this will be a success because Craig Plestis, the executive producer for America’s Got Talent and The Masked Singer, is producing Unicorn Hunters. It’s safe to say- we’re in for a treat next week!
But who is the Circle of Money, you ask? Well, just Steve Wozniak (Co-founder of Apple), Lance Bass (singer, actor, producer, and investor), Rosa Gumataotao Rios (former Treasurer of the United States), Moe Vela (attorney, author, entrepreneur, and former Director of Administration to Joe Biden), Alex Konanykhin (CEO of TransparentBusiness), Silvina Moschini (Co-founder, Chairwoman and President of TransparentBusiness) and Scott Livingston (pre-IPO financing expert and Chairman/CEO of Livingston Securities). Stellar team, isn’t it? These will be the seven people grilling the founders and debating their pitches. Then, they’ll decide whether to invest in their ideas or not.
With a cast and executive producer like that, we can say that we’re super excited to see what comes of Unicorn Hunters. So you can bet we’ll be there for the premiere on May 10th, at 10 am EDT on their website. See you there!
