While achieving this major milestone with her hit songs ‘Positions,’ ’34+35,’ and ‘pov’ from her latest album, Miss Grande, along with The Weeknd additionally holds the #1 Billboard Hot 100 spot with ‘Save Your Tears (Remix).’ We are living and witnessing the history of a pop legend, and we feel blessed!

News like this reminds us of just how powerful Ariana is. Like she is a force to be reckoned with. So we thought we’d bask in this glory and share some of the moments in her career where Ariana proved her pop queen status.

Bagging ‘New Artist of the Year’ at the American Music Awards

Ariana’s music career has been destined for success since the beginning. In 2013 at the tender age of 20, Ariana was awarded New Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards following the release of her debut album Yours Truly. Imagine if little Ari could see herself now!

Being crowned Woman of the Year at Billboard Women in Music

In 2018, Ariana was awarded the title of Woman of the Year at Billboard Women in Music. In the whirlwind of a year where she released her album Sweetener before beginning the era of Thank U Next, we saw Ari commit herself to her art as she healed from personal trauma and a rollercoaster of life events. It was undeniable that with her dedication to music even during trying times she was beyond worthy of this title and we are still so proud to this day.

With a career such as hers, it’s no surprise Ariana has managed to gain a few world records in her time. In fact, at the time of writing, she currently has 20 Guinness World Record achievements to her name. Her records include ‘Fastest time for a music track to reach 100 million streams on Spotify’ for ‘Thank U Next‘ in 2018, ‘Most songs to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100’ and ‘Most popular Eevee tattoo.’ Something tells us she’s beyond thrilled for that last one…

Breaking the YouTube record for views

‘Thank U Next’ was truly a major moment for Ariana in her career. With the fact she was already on her new record’s era just months after the release of Sweetener, ‘Thank U Next’ was a huge “OMG” moment in pop culture, and with the world watching her flourish with the single, she managed to break the record for ‘Most simultaneous views for a music video on YouTube Premieres’ with a whopping 829,000 viewers watching the premiere of the video. We stan a true queen!

Winning her first-ever GRAMMY award

In 2019, after a long time coming, Ariana was awarded her first-ever GRAMMY, and hoo, what a moment! She acclaimed the title of Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener. Although she didn’t attend the awards, she did have a fairytale-esque dress where she posed for some pics to celebrate. A true moment of pride for Arianators everywhere.

Ari is absolutely bossin’ it and we are so proud of this pop queen! We know even 10 years since her debut single, she still has so much to show us – and we can hardly wait.
