Claire Rosinkranz has dropped another banger! ‘Frankenstein’ is every little thing we could want! The Californian singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and ballerina is carving out an incredible career, and at just 17 years old, our jaws are on the floor at the growing potential and stardom of Claire!
‘Frankenstein’ sees Claire collaborating with M-phases, Chelsea Lane, and artist Lexi Jayde. What a team! The single is musically quirky and lyrically clever. Claire just has a way of bringing together Gen-Z thoughts and feelings and music. ‘Frankenstein’ quips at piecing together the best parts of a partner and a relationship to create your ideal person to love. Of course, we’re thinking of Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein, but we’re assuming Claire isn’t planning to actually sew her partners together – is she?
Channeling The Cardigans!
The song, and Claire’s vocals throughout, are so sharp and modern. Yet, Claire channeled ‘Lovefool’ by The Cardigans for this track! And now that we know that, it makes so much sense! We adore all things the 90s here at THP HQ, so the perfect blend of 90s inspiration with modern pop has really got us hyped! Big shout out to Claire’s Dad for being such incredible support for Claire. Did you know Daddy Rosinkranz produces most of the music in their family basement? No, we’re not crying. You’re crying.
“I imagine somebody who’s been in a bunch of past relationships, and they haven’t worked out for whatever reason. The guy is just too egotistical. So, you’re fed up and actually try to Frankenstein your perfect boy together. It’s honestly innocent, carefree, and cute.”
We absolutely love the track, and we love Claire! This will be one we blast in our cars and quote for years to come! We’re hoping it’ll become another huge TikTok trend, just like Claire’s 2020 hit ‘Backyard Boy,’ which inspired millions of TikTok videos! What an absolute flex! We’ll be streaming it everywhere, to add to Claire’s already half-a-billion streams! (50% of them are probably us!) We wanna know where you’re streaming ‘Frankenstein!’ If you’re not already, you can stream it right here!
We are so excited to hear Claire Rosinkranz’s debut EP this summer! If ‘Frankenstein’ is anything to go by, this might just be our record of the summer! Have you already streamed the track? Which bits of your ex-partners would you ‘Frankenstein’ together? Let us know down in the comments, tweet us at @thehoneypop, or visit us on Facebook.
