A month after dropping his brand new single ‘love race,’ Machine Gun Kelly releases the gory music video alongside Sleeping With Sirens lead singer, Kellin Quinn, and Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker. The long-awaited video is one you definitely don’t want to miss!
This horror-themed video directed by Machine Gun Kelly and Issac Rentz shows a group of people attending a campsite labeled ’emo pointe’ without knowing a killer is on the loose. The video includes a lot of well-known faces such as TikTok star, Noah Beck, and YouTube star, Alissa Violet. Despite sounding gory, it’s actually quite a comical video. MGK plays two hilarious characters throughout, a stereotypical emo dork and a stoner kid that says rad a lot, both trying not to get killed.
The video for ‘love race’ also shows scenes of MGK performing the song with Travis Barker and Kellin Quinn. Each with a studded varsity jacket with their own individual color, the three look like the Powerpuff girls if they became a rock band! And after the single ‘Alone’ by Sleeping With Sirens way back in 2013 featuring Machine Gun Kelly, we’ve been waiting for a follow-up collaboration and this one did not disappoint!

The song has been a hit ever since the release and has racked up over 25 million streams! That’s not the only success MGK has had this month. The video came after a week of success with MGK winning big at the Billboard Music Awards. He was the winner of both Top Rock Album and Top Rock Artist, as well as appearing on Ellen earlier this month. 2021 truly is MGK’s year!
Machine Gun Kelly has also announced he will be touring this fall with his newest album Tickets To My Downfall in the US. The tour is set to begin in Minnesota and end in the singer’s hometown of Cleveland. The support acts include artists CarolesDaughter, jxdn, and kennyhoopla!
