Taylor Swift fans rejoice! We are going to see our girl on the big screen once again! Canterbury Glass is an American period comedy with one of the most A-list casts we’ve seen! Taylor Swift will be joining Margot Robbie, Zoe Saldana, and Anya Taylor-Joy, among others.

We haven’t seen Taylor Swift in any film projects since Cats, so this is quite exciting. We’re still unsure of how big, or small Taylor’s role will be, but you know we’re going to go see it no matter what!
In celebration of this incredible news, we thought we’d break down some of our favorite on-screen moments from Taylor Swift! We gush about these appearances so much in our everyday life, it’s only fitting we do that on here as well!
Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009)
We truly didn’t think our elementary school selves could have been happier seeing Hannah Montana: The Movie in theatres. Then Taylor Swift came on the screen! Of course, being the life-long die-hard swifties we are, it was a high point of the film. Plus, this cameo (where Taylor Swift played herself) gave us the song ‘Crazier.’ We can only hope she adds this track to a re-recording.
Valentine’s Day (2010)
This is perhaps the most stacked movie cast you’ll ever see! From Taylor Swift to her former boyfriend Taylor Lautner, to Bradley Cooper. Plus, just about every other A-list celebrity. This was Taylor Swift’s first acting role being one of the main characters! She played Felicia who was an on-screen lover of Taylor Lautner’s character. Valentine’s Day is one of those ultimate feel-good movies. You can’t help but feel so warm inside and also so insanely single.
The Lorax (2012)
Easily our favorite Dr. Seuss book-turned-movie. This story directly tackles the very real problem of climate change and forest destruction while being utterly adorable. Taylor Swift is in the film as the voice of Audrey, a young girl who longs to see trees in real life. The cast includes our forever crush, Zac Efron, Betty White, and Danny Devito, to name a few.
Yes, Cats was met with quite a bit of mixed reviews. The general opinion is that the movie wasn’t the best, that doesn’t take away from the phenomenal job Taylor Swift did. She smashed it as Bombalurina and had the absolute best time making the film. Come on, she got to make a song with the all-time great that is Andrew Lloyd Webber. The track ‘Beautiful Ghosts’ is genuinely one of the most ethereal songs we’ve ever heard. It’s Taylor Swift at her softest vocally that we can’t get enough of.
New Girl (Season 2)
Episode: Elaine’s Big Day
Are you a New Girl superfan like us? If so, you surely remember this iconic guest-starring role! Seeing Taylor Swift pop up as Elaine remains one of our favorite moments from the entire series! We would have loved to see Elaine make a cameo later on in the series, but we will take what we can get!
