After sweeping away the Billboard Award for Top Gospel Album at this year’s BBMAs, Maverick City Music has joined forces with mega pop sensation Justin Bieber for a worship session from Churchome in Kirkland, Washington. Chandler Moore of the group and Bieber performed some of their most divine melodies, including Maverick’s ‘Jireh’, ‘How He Loves’ and Justin’s ‘Where Do I Fit In.’ They bonded over their spiritual beliefs and the mutual ringing theme in their new music – God’s love. No kidding, we’re hooked to the session and wanted to share with the class.
That’s not all! Having broken streaming records at Apple Music and Spotify with their latest release Old Church Basement, a collab album with Elevation Worship, Maverick City Music is now all set to deliver their next project Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition. Excited already? Wait till you hear this – it’ll also feature some of the biggest names in music – Justin Bieber, P. Diddy, Tori Kelly, and more. Now that’s our cue to put our stan masks on!
Also, Maverick City Music is ready to embark on its first-ever tour this fall! We absolutely can’t wait to enjoy the electrifying performances by the collective members! 90 minutes of Dante Bowe, Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine, Joe L. Barnes, Aaron Moses? Bring it on! The venues will hold 3000 – 8000 fans, and observe all Covid related protocols. You can buy tickets right here and we suggest you run before the last few dates of the tour are sold out!
