Hunny updates tour dates and delivers a sick new single, ‘Daydreams/Heartbreaks.’

Forming in 2014, Hunny has collected a massive group of loyal listeners, gaining them over 155 million streams to date. The group has collectively released three EPs and one full-length record, and that’s not the last of it. Using a brilliant combination of hearty lyrics, shimmery-thoughtful melodies, and rhythms that will have you shaking it through the summertime, they’ve captivated all.
Hunny, made up of Jason Yarger (vocals), Jake Goldstein (guitar), Kevin Grimmett (bass, keyboards), and Joey Anderson (drums), announced their headline tour in the spring of 2020. But like the rest of us, they missed out on the fun due to the pandemic. Luckily for them and all of us, the band has announced the rescheduling of the tour. Additionally, they’ve added a bound-to-be-insane hometown show at The Fonda on November 20, their most significant, most epic show to date. All previous purchases will be honored, and if you’ve yet to snag one, there are some still available! Scoop them here.
And oh Hunny, they’re not stopping there! The band also released a brand new single, ‘Daydreams/Heartbreaks,’ and it’s making us do a bit of both. Sure, the song sounds light, but lyrically it’s pretty heavy. Reflecting the moments in which partners find themselves lost in thought, the band explains:
Trying to infer what they may be thinking of causes you to become trapped in a spiral of insecurities. Irrational thought patterns where the negative aspects of your relationship are playing in the theatre of their mind, and you fear that they may come to realize that this all may be a mistake.

Beautifully gut-wrenching in all the right ways, its lyrics hit home with the lot of us. The single leaves us absolutely astounded, but needing more Hunny! Nothing sweeter than a tour!
