It’s no secret that here at The Honey POP, we are the biggest Rebecca Black stans. She’s reinvented herself from being one of the first viral stars to a staple in pop music. With every single release, she blows us away and further convinces us there’s no one doing it like her.

Today is a really huge day for us and Rebecca Black, her EP Rebecca Black Was Here is officially out! It’s a six-track record with three previously released tracks and three unreleased tracks. With each song, you can tell more and more that Rebecca has really come into her own. This is her most honest, cohesive body of work yet.

In addition to the release of the EP, Rebecca has also just announced a headlining tour! So far, we have six tour dates spanning from California to Toronto.

‘Better In My Memory’

Opening the EP with a track we haven’t heard yet is such a smart move. It creates so much excitement right off the bat! We can’t get enough of the hyper-pop feel to this track. ‘Better in My Memory’ is the track we dreamed of being on this record. After hearing the ‘Friday (Remix),’ we knew we needed more of this sound out of Rebecca Black.

We know her, we love her! ‘Personal’ has been that track since its release! We’re pretty sure this track will always hold one of the top two spots for our all-time favorite Rebecca Black song. The use of the vocal effects that she chose in this track still blows us away. One hundred percent, we will be blaring this song all summer long.

It’s time for another new track! And of course, it’s another hyper-pop dream. We’re certifying ‘NGL’ as our number one off of this record. We had this song on repeat about a million times. It’s really that good, trust us.

Rebecca Black sounds so beautiful here! This is definitely the track where her voice shines the most. ‘Blue’ is the softest track on the record while still having an alt-pop feel. We feel like this is unlike anything else we’ve gotten from Rebecca thus far.

‘Worth It For The Feeling’

You guys know how obsessed we are with this track! We’ve already gushed all about both the song and the video in a previous article. But of course, we’re about to do just that again. This sultry side to Rebecca Black is one we can’t get enough of! It’s so mature and exactly what we’re looking for in mood music.
