Welcome back to Artists On The Road, your weekly guide to all of the latest tour announcements! And what a week it has been. After a whole year of lockdowns and misery, we are happy to say that live music is slowly making its way back to us.

After four years of silence since the release of her album Melodrama, LORDE is back and better than ever! The New Zealand singer/songwriter made her highly anticipated return with critically acclaimed new single ‘Solar Power,’ whose release is appropriately timed with the only solar eclipse of the year. The song features on her third full-length studio album, Solar Power which is due out August 20th. In addition to the announcement of her next album, LORDE has also unveiled a worldwide tour. The artist will be on the road in 2022, starting in the singer’s homeland New Zealand in February and ending with six shows in the UK. The tour dates are as follows:

Boundary-blurring trio Chase Atlantic is an Australian band that has just announced a huge North American fall tour three months after the release of their latest album BEAUTY IN DEATH. The band will on the road playing whopping 29 shows in total. Undoubtedly, the band does amazing live performances and knows how to put on an unforgettable show. They have traveled multiple continents and headlined across the US, UK, and Europe, and sold out venues such as Webster Hall in New York, Kentish Town Forum in the UK!

Summerland Tour

Created in 2012 by Everclear frontman Art Alexakis, the Summerland Tour became a fan favorite when it comes to summer tours. Alongside Everclear as a recurring headliner, the tour previously included bands such as Sugar Ray, Marcy Playground, and The Toadies to perform, making this a must-attend for fans for some 90’s nostalgia. Starting this week, the Summerland Tour will go ahead, and the artists will be on the road from Thursday. All tickets and VIP upgrades are available to purchase here!

Russell Watson

Russell Watson is an English singer who has released singles and albums of both operatic style and pop style. Russell’s rise is the stuff of dreams, the People’s Tenor, as he was dubbed, single-handedly created classical-pop crossover, a genre that has been growing ever since. He will be on tour in Autumn 2021, celebrating over 20 years since his debut album The Voice was released. The artist will be on the road this autumn performing 19 shows in the UK. Young Nudy

Quantavious Tavario Thomas, professionally known as Young Nudy, is an American rapper who released his latest album DR EV4L earlier this year. It features guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, and G Herbo. Recently, he announced the DR. EV4L VS RICH SHOOTER US tour and will be playing ten shows this fall, including stops in Dallas, Atlanta, New York, and more, before concluding the run on August 21st. Lil Baby

Lil baby is a 26-year-old rapper from Atlanta and one of the most dominant and critically acclaimed names in rap. The artist is unapologetically himself, speaking his truth in his lyrics which connects him to listeners like no other. This week, he announced Back Outside Tour with support from fellow rapper Lil Durk. The pair are set to start tour this fall and perform 23 shows throughout America. This is going to be one wild tour, and we are so excited about it. Tickets for The Back Outsider Tour are on sale and can be bought here.

After years of being in the music industry and being an extremely talented singer/songwriter, Kesha is still creating incredible music. With songs going viral on TikTok to performing alongside artists such as Flo-Rida and Pitbull, you cannot deny she is an unstoppable force. Kesha announced earlier this week that she would be extending her already announced tour. The artist will be on the road for a few more stops in New York, DC, Minneapolis, and more. She will also be joined by Betty Who as a support act. There are also some VIP packages for this tour which include a COVID-friendly meet and greet as well as close seats for the tour!

Squeeze Artists on the road

Squeeze is a UK-based rock band originating in the late ’70s. Squeeze disbanded in 1999 and reunited in 2007, releasing three albums since then. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1978 that featured some of their most iconic singles such as ‘Cool for Cats,’ ‘Up the Junction’ and ‘Pulling Mussels From A Shell.’ The legendary artists are hitting the road this fall with the NOMADBAND TOUR. The 24 stop US tour comes before the band will be joining Hall & Oates for their first date on August 5 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA. With their track record of shows, this is going to be one unforgettable tour!

I’m so excited to be back on stage and in the thick of our wonderful setlist of songs. Seeing an audience again will be inspiring and emotional, it’s been too long.

Shadows Fall

Shadows Fall is an American heavy metal rock that dominated the ’00s. After their hiatus, Shadows Fall has finally decided to come together and announced a reunion show which is set to happen at The Palladium in Worcester on December 18th. Fans can expect sweaty, high-energy, full-on metallic throttle from start to finish. Not only that but Unearth, Darkest Hour, Within the Ruins, Sworn Enemy, and Carnivora are also set to appear. These artists can’t wait to get back out on the road and have spoken highly about playing a show together again!

We Came As Romans are one of the most well-known American metalcore bands. Their album To Plant A Seed is a definitive sonic statement and remains a fan favorite to this day. We Came As Romans announced the rescheduled dates for their To Plant A Seed anniversary tour, and it’s only fitting that the band commemorates the release with a tour. They will be joined on the road by support acts such as The Devil Wears Prada, Dayseeker, and Hollow Front. The band has stated that this will the last time that they play will this iconic album live.

Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East are proud parents to their one-year-old daughter Drew and a baby boy on the way. The East Family documents their life with fans on their shared YouTube channel as well as podcast Couple Things which the New York Times has named one of the best go-to podcasts inspired by love and relationships. The pair have just announced that they will be taking their podcast Couple Things on the road in 2022!

Shawn Johnson and Andrew East’s tour will kick off in January 2022 and will be taking place in six cities. Each night at Couple Things Live, the pair will take the audience on an interactive journey through never-before-shared stories, onstage games, advice, exclusive content, Q&As, and more! Not only that, but they also have VIP tickets which can gain you access to the venue early and you’ll be able to meet Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East. The Struts

The Struts are an English rock band from Derby who has made good bonding with some of the greatest icons in rock-and-roll history since their debut. Recently, they announced that they are adding more dates to their Strange Days Are Over Tour. The newly announced dates include stops in Detroit, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Not only they will be headlining a tour, but they will also make appearances at a few festivals such as Reading & Leeds, as well as a handful of dates supporting Shinedown.

Noga Erez

Noga Erez is an incredible musician and producer who burst onto the scene with her debut album Off The Radar in 2017 and has been gaining fans all across the world since. She continues to forge a path of uncompromising and unpredictable, gritty, truth-seeking alt-pop. Her newest album KIDS is laced with themes of tension and release as well as anxiety and remedy and is packed with chart-worthy outspoken pop anthems for the 21st century.

She recently announced her tour KIDS which is spread across 45+ shows in the US and internationally. It is set to kick off later this year and will continue into 2022. Iconic band Flogging Molly is an Irish-American seven-piece punk band. Starting as the house band in Los Angeles and building a loyal following through endless touring, Flogging Molly has become a staple in the punk scene over the past 20 years. Undoubtedly, this band is one of the most entertaining to see live which should make this tour a great one to see!

Violent Femmes is an acoustic punk band formed in the ’80s. The band hasn’t stopped since the start of their career as they set out with the goal to rock harder than any other acoustic act on the planet, and we think they definitely succeeded! The two bands have teamed up and will be co-headlining a tour together this September! As well as having support acts ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES & Thick. The artists will be on the road and stop at 30 cities for this tour. The bands have also announced they have included VIP packages that will guarantee you the best spots for the gig! Evanescence and Halestorm

Earlier this year, rock legends Evanescence and Halestorm announced that they were teaming up to go on tour together this fall. The tour will bring together two of the top women in rock, Amy Lee and Lzzy Hale, for a truly unforgettable experience night after night! The rock bands that have just announced the supporting artists that will be joining them are PLUSH and Lilith Czar. A night full of some of the most astounding female rock artists of our generation – what more can you wish for!

Gary Clark Jr

Gary Clark Jr is an American musician from Texas. He is known for his mix of blues, rock, and soul music with elements of hip hop. The multi-genre artist is an unforgettable live performer and has played on many TV shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Ellen Show, The Late Late Show, and many more! It’s nice to say Gary Clark Jr. is officially back to doing what he does best—playing live shows!

We’re excited to say Gary Clark Jr has just announced a North American tour expected to begin this summer! The artist will be on the road from August and will put on 14 shows. This month-long tour isn’t the only place he’ll be performing as he will also be making an appearance at some festivals too! Tickets for the US dates can be found here! Alongside his US tour, Gary will also be joining legendary band Guns N’ Roses as well as Slash on their European stadium tour in 2022. All tickets for these shows can be bought here.

Skillet is an alternative rock band from Memphis and is one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century. Skillet has also recently released a brand new graphic novel with Z2 comics called Eden and you can grab a copy here! The band has also announced they will be heading out on tour this fall. The artists will be hitting the road in September alongside Adelitas Way on The Aftermath Tour. The tour will be stopping at 24 different cities and we can’t wait to see what songs the band will add to the setlist from their enormous and brilliant discography!

They have continuously pushed social boundaries and questioned authority and beliefs. A band that set to inspire anyone who will listen, something we love to hear!

Alkaline Trio

Since emerging in 1996, Alkaline Trio have become one of punk rock’s most progressive and unique bands of the last decade. The band have gained passionate supporters with nine fan-adored albums as well as relentlessly touring since the start of their careers.

The two bands have teamed up for a North American tour. Bad Religion and Alkaline Trio have just announced the rescheduled dates for their upcoming tour which is now set to happen this October. The artists will also be on the road alongside support act War On Women. The bands are super excited to tour again and can’t wait to do it together! Lord Huron

Lord Huron is an American indie rock band based in the Los Angeles area and are incredible live performers and have played lots of headlining tours as well as many prime slots at festivals ranging from Coachella to Lollapalooza to Bonnaroo. With their Fall 2021 headline tour quickly selling out, Lord Huron announces three new dates for their tour in Oklahoma City, Dallas, and Austin in October alongside the already 23 cities they have planned. The band will be joined by Allison Ponthier and Andy Shaufand at selected dates. Presale tickets for these extra dates went on sale today and the code to access them is longlost21. All other tickets will be on sale Friday, July 1st at 10 am. All tickets will be available to purchase from here.

Anberlin is an American alternative rock band formed in Florida. Since then, the band has released seven studio albums as well as five live albums which proved just how talented this band is live, and listening to them will make you want to grab tickets to the upcoming tour the band just announced!

Recently, Anberlin unveiled that they will be going on tour this September! The band will also be joined by The Early November and support acts to be announced soon! The tour will see the artists hitting the road this fall for a 17 stop US tour. All VIP and general admission tickets for this tour go on sale Friday, July 1st, and can be bought from here.

Without a doubt, the band are ecstatic to be back on the road and we here at The Honey POP are just as excited!
