Binge-Worthy Buzz: See What’s Buzzing This Week

Hello honeybees, and welcome to another edition of Binge-Worthy Buzz, where we come to the rescue of everyone who needs help finding something to watch. Now, hold our hand, sit back and let’s get into this week’s new releases!

I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson

If you need a few laughs to get you through the week, we strongly recommend I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson. The first season of this sketch comedy show came out in 2019 and season 2 was supposed to be on Netflix in 2020, but we all know what happened last year. But, finally, we get to laugh once more with a new season of Tim Robinson’s sketches.

Cat People

Cat lovers, this one is for you! Netflix’s newest documentary is all about the furballs and their owners. Not only are we talking about their day-to-day lives, but also a bit of insight into the lives of people who dedicate themselves to animal causes. The series will have six episodes of pure cat adorableness, it’ll be like when we watch cat videos on YouTube, but better.

The Good, The Bart And The Loki

A short that combines the Simpsons and the God of Mischief? Sign us up! Along with episode 5 of the Loki series, this Wednesday Disney+ will also have the trickster played by Tom Hiddleston meeting Bart, Lisa, and their family. And, as usual, when Bart and Loki are involved, chaos ensues.

Gossip Girl (2021)

Look, we might be freaking out just a little bit over this one, okay? From 2007 to 2012 we were all obsessed with the original show, so you bet we’ll watch the reboot! Updated, but not forgetting its essence, this new show will follow a different group of students under the constant vigilance of Gossip Girl (once again voiced by Kristen Bell), but this time via Instagram. And it all starts July 8 on HBO Max!

Black Widow

Continuing the Marvel hype this week on Disney+, this Friday will have all of us freaking out because finally Black Widow, a.k.a. the most awesome former assassin we’ve ever met, got her solo movie. She was the only one out of the original six Avengers without a movie focused just on her story. Now she does! And we’ll be watching it as many times as we did every other Marvel movie. (Just a reminder: the movie will only be available with premiere access for now.)

And those were our recommendations this week. Tell us which ones you’ll be watching in the comments or tweet us @TheHoneyPOP!
