For years, Demi Lovato has been actively involved in the fight for equal rights for the entire LGBTQIA+ community. Now, they’re taking some serious action to support organizations fighting to defend LGBTQIA+ rights, and encouraging all of us to join them! On June 17th, Demi, partnering with Propeller, launched their Take Action with Demi Lovato campaign to help raise money to support organizations important to them like the Human Rights Campaign, The Trevor Project, and The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness.
This is the second time they’ve partnered with Propeller, which is a digital marketing platform that incentivizes fans to take action for social good by collaborating with musicians and other influencers. Demi’s 2020 campaign saw over 270,000 actions being taken on issues ranging from racial justice to immigration reform, and it was actually the most successful Propeller action campaign to date.
This is a crucial moment. In this year alone, we’ve already seen 36 states introduce bills specifically targeting trans youth. Those who have experienced hate simply for being themselves know the longstanding damage this can have on their lives.Demi Lovato

Recently, Demi has been getting real in their podcast, 4D with Demi Lovato. If you haven’t seen it, it’s so worth the watch. It’s filled with deep, rich content that involves Demi discussing topics like the climate crisis, how women are treated in the pop industry, and legislation targeting the LGBTQIA+ community with special weekly guests. We highly recommend it. Here’s the link to listen to 4D with Demi Lovato.
