LILHUDDY, aka Chase Hudson, has come out with a new music video for his single ‘Don’t Freak Out,’ along with the announcement of his debut album, Teenage Heartbreak, set to be released on September 17th via Polydor Records. The track features rapper iann dior, Travis Barker, and Tyson Ritter (lead singer of The All American Rejects). Some of the songwriters, include Lauv, DallasK (who also co-wrote and produced ‘Work from Home’ by Fifth Harmony), Jacob Kashner (Who helped write hits like ‘Perfect’ by One Direction and ‘Attention’ by Charlie Puth), and Nick Wheeler (Guitarist for The All American Rejects).

The song itself genre-bends between hip-hop, pop, and punk, all genres that inspired LILHUDDY’s music and style. The video shows LILHUDDY running away from a mob of fans, who tie him up to a monster truck. This happens as he sings “don’t freak out” over and over, as he, ironically, is freaking out himself.

The video then goes to clips of LILHUDDY, iann, Tyson, and Travis performing in a fiery shot in the abandoned warehouse. Overall we think the video is super cool and are excited about what’s to come from LILHUDDY. With features like this, we can only imagine what else. LILHUDDY has in store for us.
