11 Drinks Inspired By Our Favorite Artists

Drinks have always been a big thing on social media. People have always loved posting aesthetic pictures of their drinks on their Instagram pages. It’s even become a trend on TikTok for friends to get together and have parties where each friend makes a different themed drink. We felt like we had to jump in on that trend, but in our own way, because what’s more on-brand for THP than adding our favorite artists to an already existing trend? We just hope you enjoy these celebrity-inspired drinks as much as we do.

Ice to Meet Ya – Niall Horan

When we thought of what drink could possibly represent Niall, Irish coffee was the first to come to mind. However, we wanted to think just a little bit outside of the box. So instead of making your average Irish coffee, we created this recipe for a caramel iced Irish coffee which would live up to Niall Horan‘s name.

1 1/2 shots of Baileys
1 shot of caramel flavoring
1/4 cup of milk
3/4 cup of cold coffee
caramel sauce for drizzle
*for an alcohol-free version, just sub out the Bailey’s for an Irish cream flavored coffee creamer or just leave it out completely.

First, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Next, add in the caramel flavoring, Baileys, milk, and cold coffee. Place the lid on the shaker and shake well. Grab a glass and drizzle caramel sauce around the inside of the cup, then put ice in the cup. Drain the drink that’s in the cocktail shaker into the glass and enjoy.

CALM Cocktail – 5 Seconds of Summer

We here at THP are still obsessing over CALM and if we were making celebrity-inspired drinks then we just had to make a drink to honor this album. And if we’re representing CALM it felt like common sense to use one of the world’s most calming ingredients, lavender! This lavender lemonade mojito is the perfect drink to sip on the next time you want to relax and stream your favorite album for the hundredth time.

1 shot of cold lemon juice
a few mint leaves
1 shot of light rum
3/4 cup of cold water
about 1 shot of lavender syrup (adjust to taste)
lavender syrup:
1/2 cup of culinary grade lavender
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of water

First, add lemon juice and mint leaves to a glass. Muddle together until the mint leaves release their oils into the lemon juice. Add rum and lavender syrup then stir until all combined. Top off with water and enjoy. To make the syrup, add the lavender, sugar, and water to a pan. Cook on medium heat until it starts to thicken, then let it cool and strain.

‘Blueberry Eyes’ Bellini – MAX

Where are our MAX stans? THP adores MAX, and we had to give him his own drink! Obviously, this drink had to be blueberry flavored. While this may be one of our most simple celebrity-inspired drink recipes, we promise it’s amazing. You have to try it for yourself.

1/2 shot of blueberry syrup
a few fresh blueberries
blueberry syrup:
1 cup frozen blueberries
2-3 thyme sprigs
1/2 cup honey
1/8 cup water
*for an alcohol-free version, replace champagne with sparkling grape juice.

Add blueberry syrup to the bottom of a champagne flute, then top with champagne. Stir and drop in a few blueberries for garnish. To make the syrup, add blueberries, thyme, honey, and water to a saucepan. Cook on medium heat until all the blueberries burst and a thick syrup has formed.

‘Party Girl’ – Hey Violet

Hey Violet has to have a drink just as unique as the band members themselves. Much like Hey Violet, this drink is the life of the party. Who doesn’t want a color-changing drink? That’s right, this drink changes from dark blue, to purple (or violet), to finally pink. Don’t believe us? Try it for yourself!

1/4 cup of butterfly pea flower syrup
1 cup of water
1 shot of vodka
juice of one lime
butterfly pea flower syrup:
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of sugar
10-15 butterfly pea flowers

In a small dish, combine vodka and lime juice, then set aside. Pour water and butterfly pea flower syrup into a glass and mix well, then add ice. Now pour the lime juice and vodka mixture on top and watch as the drink magically changes color! To make the syrup, pour the flowers, water, and sugar into a saucepan. Cook on medium heat until it begins to thicken, then let cool and drain.

Little Mixer Spritzer – Little Mix

The ladies of Little Mix have been spoiling us with content, so we felt it was only fair to make them a drink. When we think of Little Mix in a drink we thought of pink and champagne. So, a pink lemonade spritzer sounded like the perfect match, as did the name!

1/2 cup of sparkling white wine
1/2 cup of lemon-lime soda
2 shots of pink lemonade vodka

Mix together sparkling wine, soda, and vodka in a glass. Top off with ice and enjoy.

Could a list of celebrity-inspired drinks possibly be complete without a Harry Styles drink? While creating this drink, we had to keep in mind some of Harry’s song titles. After all, with so many song titles that are also fruits, it’s almost like he had given us a perfect drink recipe. This is the perfect refreshing drink to enjoy on a summer evening. This recipe makes two drinks.

2 cups of frozen watermelon
1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
1 shot of strawberry juice vodka
1 shot of watermelon vodka

The success of ‘Butter‘ this summer made us want to dedicate a special drink to it. But, we couldn’t create a butter-flavored drink, could we? So we went with the closest thing, a drink inspired by another fandom’s favorite ‘Butter’ drink. We’re pretty sure we just created your new favorite drink, you can thank us later. This recipe makes two drinks.

1 cup of whipping cream
2 shots of salted caramel whiskey
1 tbsp of instant butterscotch pudding mix
1 1/2 cups of ice
1 cup of cream soda
caramel sauce for drizzle
*for a yummy alcohol-free version, just replace the whiskey with caramel flavoring.

Pour whipping cream, 1 shot of whiskey, and pudding mix into a bowl. Whisk together until it has a thick, whipped cream-like consistency, then set aside. Pour remaining whiskey, ice, and cream soda into a blender. Blend until no large chunks remain. Drizzle caramel sauce into two glasses, then pour the drink into the glasses. Top with the whipped mixture and enjoy.

Not So ‘Alcohol-Free’ – Twice

When Twice released ‘Alcohol-Free‘ we instantly felt inspired by it to create a drink. While the song’s chorus named off so many drinks we could have recreated, we wanted to come up with our own after watching the music video. We believe this tropical drink is the perfect representation of the song, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. This recipe makes two drinks.

1 cup of coconut water
2 shots of coconut rum
juice of 1 key lime
2 drops of blue food coloring (optional)

Pour ice, coconut water, rum, lime juice, and food coloring into a cocktail shaker. Place the lid on and shake until everything is combined and the outside of the shaker gets freezing cold. Pour into two glasses and enjoy with a friend.

Sour Slush – Olivia Rodrigo

Everyone has become obsessed with Olivia Rodrigo this year, and we are no exception! With an album named Sour and Olivia’s special packs of sour patch kids, we felt it was pretty obvious what had to be done here. And why stop at one sour candy-flavored drink when we could layer two together? This recipe makes two drinks.

citric acid
lemon wedge
2 cups of ice
1 shot of blue raspberry vodka
1 shot of green apple vodka
2 tbsp of sour mix
1 cup of water
1/2 tsp of blue raspberry drink powder
1/2 tsp of green apple drink powder
sour patch kids
sour candy ribbons

Pour sugar and citric acid onto a small plate and mix them together. Run the lime wedge around the rim of two glasses, then coat rims in the sugar mixture. Pour 1 cup of ice, blue raspberry vodka, blue raspberry drink powder, 1 tbsp of sour mix, and 1/2 cup of water in a blender and blend until combined. Pour mixture evenly between the two glasses. Pour remaining ice, water, and sour mix in a blender, along with green apple vodka and drink powder. Blend until smooth and slowly pour between the two glasses to create a layered effect. Garnish the drink the sour candies and enjoy with your friends!

We felt this list of celebrity-inspired drinks could not be complete without Blackpink. We also thought this list needed a boozy shake and the pairing seemed obvious with the band’s hit ‘Ice Cream.’ We love this drink just as much as we love Blackpink.

1 pint of vanilla ice cream
2 shots of peanut butter whiskey
1/4 cup of milk
1 tbsp of peanut butter powder
whipped cream
peanut butter
peanut butter cup

Drizzle peanut butter and Nutella inside of two glasses. Dump ice cream, whiskey, milk, and peanut butter powder into a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into glasses. Top each drink with whipped cream and a peanut butter cup and enjoy.
