Troye Sivan has quite literally moved heaven down into our heads with his brand new single, ‘Angel Baby!’ A signature Troye bop, we haven’t been able to stop ‘Angel Baby’ to the loop today, and we’re positive you won’t either. Listen to the song right here!
We’re not sure what we did to deserve Troye because ‘Angel Baby’ made us want to cry relentlessly and blare it through speakers simultaneously! Written by Troye Sivan, Jason Evigan, Michael Pollack, Sarah Hudson, and JHart, ‘Angel Baby’ is an intimate ballad full of yearning and passion. It’s unapologetically romantic, with a hint of top-tier nostalgic retro, cinematic 90s synth glory.
‘Angel Baby’ Is Bringing us Back To Life!
Right in line with Troye Sivan’s mood and sound, ‘Angel Baby’ is already giving us Blue Neighbourhood 2.0 vibes. With vocals straight out of this world and crazy production on the song, Troye went on to give his fans exactly what they wanted. You could easily dream of this song, cry to it, or dance around and vibe with it inside your car. And the lyrics are so cute too – “Started giving up on the word forever, Until you give up heaven so we could be together.” Oh dear, are you kidding?
‘Angel Baby’ is my crack at an adoring, doting, love-struck, mega pop, gay, power ballad. I thought we needed a few more of those.Troye Sivan on ‘Angel Baby’
Certainly did, Troye. We may as well be entering into our full-fledged stan mode now, but can you blame us? Troye even gave us a visualizer!
Can We Live In This Visualizer Forever?
What could be better than seeing Troye Sivan sing ‘Angel Baby’ in the flesh? Well, quite certainly, seeing Troye sing ‘Angel Baby’ in angel wings! He looks like a real cupid with those beautiful wings on. The stunning, raw visuals also make it a self-love and self-acceptance anthem. Troye is welcoming and confident with himself now more than ever. It’s almost as if he has found himself, made peace with his being, and is ready for love! From the visuals to the vocals to the instruments, this song is pure joy. Watch the ‘Angel Baby’ Visualizer below:
