When Country Meets Pop: Walker Hayes, Kesha and More!

When Country Meets Pop: Walker Hayes, Kesha and More!

We will forever jam out to country-pop crossovers. Honestly, it’s one of our favorite corners of music. There is something so seamless with these collaborations that you almost forget these artists don’t make music together all of the time. From Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber to Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line, these songs have become some of the biggest hits for artists. We decided to comb through the many country-pop crossovers and pick four of our absolute favorite, more recent ones to gush about today!

‘Fancy Like’ – Walker Hayes Ft Kesha

We have been singing ‘Fancy Like’ non-stop since it blew up on TikTok, and we are not sorry. This song is catchy and has already blown up to insane heights. It was a complete genius move on Walker’s part to bring in Kesha. Her voice is one of the strongest in the industry, which a lot of people ignore and only think of ‘Tik Tok’ when they should look to songs like ‘Praying.’

‘Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)’ Acoustic – Miranda Lambert And Elle King

We’ve loved ‘Drunk (And I Don’t Want To Go Home)’ since we first heard the track. In our opinion, Miranda Lambert and Elle King were meant to make music together. That is even more clear with this new acoustic version of the track. You can hear how well their voices mesh, how soft and powerful both women sound.

‘This Feeling‘ – The Chainsmokers & Kelsea Ballerini

The Chainsmokers are always a good time, so when you add Kelsea Ballerini into that equation? You’re in for a song that is going to be an instant mood booster. That is exactly what you get with ‘This Feeling.’ We can see Kelsea Ballerini pulling a Taylor Swift and going full-on pop star.

‘Memory’ – Kane Brown And blackbear

Kane Brown has done a few crossover tracks, but ‘Memory’ with our pop-punk king, blackbear, has to be our favorite. Every time either of these artists collaborates with another, it sounds like they were always meant to make music together. That’s the beauty of their universal talent.
