Shall we begin our list with an illustrated young adult novel? You know, sometimes we get so wrapped up in something we love so much that we plan our entire lives around it. Our aspirations, our identities, our everyday plans are shaped by it and we are so determined but sometimes, life just doesn’t work that way. It always has other plans for us and they aren’t necessarily the best ones. This is what happened to the protagonist of this book, Siena, a girl who has devoted her entire life to dance. Will she be able to get to know her true self and place that self somewhere else in the world? The answers are in the book!

A collection of poems, stories, and essays on CATS? Sign us up! Margaret Atwood introduces this amazing selection of works that portray cats in a bunch of different ways for ages. Gilded By Marissa Meyer

Feiwel & Friends

This time, Marissa Meyer greets us with a modern retelling. Let’s face it: we all enjoy contemporary retellings, and Gilded is no exception. Gilded is based on the German fairy story Rumpelstiltskin, which was earlier recounted by The Brothers Grimm. We’ve all heard the story before, that his daughter has the ability to transform anything into gold. But in this book, our heroine Serilda’s power (or, curse) is telling fascinating tales. Because of this power (or, curse, again), Serilda finds herself in a very troubling situation filled with evil, mystic creatures, as well as a bad King who demands that she fulfill an impossible assignment in exchange for her life. How will Serilda find a way out? You are curious, aren’t you?

The Fastest Way To Fall By Denise Williams
november book releases

We’re suckers for romance novels with a twist. Britta, a blogger, and Wes, the CEO of a fitness app, are the characters in Denise Williams’ story. This one gives a little bit of How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days kind-of of vibes, but in this book, our characters really want to be together but they know that it is so wrong professionally. So, despite the fact that love is in the air, they are attempting to ignore it entirely. We understand how difficult that is. But you should be there to see what’s going to happen to these two love birds.
