‘The Boys’ (originally by Girls’ Generation)

If there’s one boy group you can trust when it comes to covering girl group’s songs, it’s The Boyz. Their iconic take on Girls’ Generation‘s ‘The Boys’ is just an example of it.

Of course, the pun of The Boyz covering ‘The Boys’ is self-explanatory, yet it makes this cover even more genius. They absolutely served with this one, staying true to the original all while having that, The Boyz, spark while performing. Even without tricks and intense choreography, The Boyz’s cover of ‘The Boys’ is still to this day one of their most memorable and iconic covers.

‘Mirotic’ (originally by TVXQ!)

The second cover that you cannot possibly miss from The Boyz is their take on TVXQ!’s ‘Mirotic.’ This shows a whole different side to them and their performance, and it just goes to show how versatile these boys are when it comes to performance. They can literally do it all.

During the promotions for ‘Reveal,’ The Boyz covered this already incredibly iconic song. Needless to say that they killed it. They captured the vibe of ‘Mirotic’ so well and served when it comes to choreography, styling, vocals, and absolutely everything.

‘Danger’ (originally by Taemin)

There is no way we could possibly make this list without including this one.

Not only is their take on Taemin‘s ‘Danger’ an absolute masterpiece, but it also was the beginning of so many incredible and mind-blowing performances. To think that this was their first-ever full performance in Road To Kingdom makes it even more incredible.

This performance is addictive to watch. You could watch it a hundred times and still find something new every time. The concept of the performance is amazing as they take on this thief kind of storyline. The outfits, the choreography, the vocals – everything about it is top tier. And it wasn’t clear The Boyz are incredible performers already, ‘Danger’ just confirms that they’re on a whole other level.

‘Monster (Stormborn)’ (originally by EXO)

Every performance by The Boyz in Road to Kingdom or Kingdom were incredible and iconic in their own way. However, when it comes to Kingdom, ‘Monster (Stormborn)’ has to be the one.

It’s been months, and this performance hasn’t left our heads for one second. They took on the already iconic choreography by EXO and made it their own, all while including many new elements. If there’s one performance in this list that screams The Boyz’s name, it’s this one. The vocals were impeccable, and the rap verses were unforgettable – Sunwoo coming out of a snake is simply unmatchable. ‘Monster’ is already an incredible song, but The Boyz managed to make it their own by adding some kind of edge to the production and the vocals. It made this performance simply unforgettable.
