The concert will delve further into the “Metaversal Origin Story”—newly-named by Chief Producer Soo-Man Lee, based on SMCU (SM Culture Universe)—through the concept on the “SMCU EXPRESS.” Intriguingly, SMTOWN 2022 will take place in “SMCU EXPRESS STATION” where the artists gather in a virtual and mythical space called “KWANGYA.” Step aside MCU, we’re headed for the SMCU this winter.

Four Songs From Our Dream Setlist

Every artist stage for SMTOWN 2022 is going to be iconic, that’s just a fact, but if we could wish for a few songs to see performed specifically it would have to be these!

‘Sticker’ by NCT 127

One of the most unique songs to drop this year and one we love to see performed live! Every day we try to master NCT 127’s choreography and fail miserably, we’ll just leave it to the boys.

‘Savage’ by aespa

Aespa is the best at making us feel like we can conquer the world, especially with this track. Their savage vocals would give us the inspiration we need to jump into 2022.

‘Don’t Call Me’ by SHINee

SHINee’s first comeback title track after their hiatus and a catchy tune you won’t be able to get out of your head. Though SHINee will be performing sans Taemin due to his mandatory military enlistment, we’re hyped to see them tear up the stage.

‘Queendom’ by Red Velvet

We hope the Queens perform this dreamy song so we can show off the choreography we practiced. We may not match up to their sharp moves or elegant vocals but we’ll be cheering them on from our living room as loud as we can.
