4 FKA Twigs Collabs That Show Off Her Superstar Potential

It goes without saying that FKA Twigs is one of the most talented ladies around, but that also leaves us wondering: why isn’t Twigs one of the biggest names in music yet? Not only is she an amazing vocalist and songwriter, but she’s rubbed elbows with some of our favorite artists of the 21st century for quite a few unforgettable collaborations. Here are four of our favorite collabs that FKA Twigs has blessed us with!

‘Tears In The Club’ Featuring The Weeknd

One of our favorite collabs of 2021, ‘Tears In The Club’ is a sleek fusion of pop and R&B that will definitely become a club hit in the years to come. It’s a post-breakup anthem describing the frustration and sadness that comes when a relationship ends. We’ll never say no to an absolute bop by two of our favorite artists, especially one that will help fans through tough times!

I’m always pushing to level up to MY best self, and I’ve pushed so hard to find my capri sun. I’m so proud of this music.

‘holy terrain’ Featuring Future

FKA Twigs ventures through ‘holy terrain’ on a hunt for the perfect lover on this R&B and hip-hop collab with Future. Of all the collabs we could’ve gotten from Twigs, this is certainly one of the most unexpected, but we’re so glad it happened! She told i-D about working with Future:

I sent him the album and I called him up and was like, “Listen, Future… this is what my album’s about. It’s a really empowering, sensitive record, with a lot of feminine energy, and this song is probably the most fun track on it, but I still need lyrical content.” And he said, “Okay, I’ve got it.” And his verse is beautiful!

‘Don’t Judge Me’ Featuring Headie One And Fred Again..

Twigs teams up with two UK powerhouses on ‘Don’t Judge Me,’ an anthem of accepting and celebrating who you are. It’s a continuation of the trio’s 2020 collab ‘Judge Me (Interlude),’ which appeared on Headie and Fred’s collab album, GANG. We’re so glad they came back together to give the song more depth and a longer form.

‘Measure Of A Man’ Featuring Central Cee

‘Measure Of A Man’ is the perfect showcase of Twigs’ gorgeous vocals, and we can’t get enough of the contrast between her velvety voice and Central Cee’s firm confidence! The track describes the ups and downs of the human experience over a beat that keeps the tempo high and helps the song from sounding too sad.

This song has such a different sound which is a challenge, you’ve got to really embody the song. For me especially with my vocals, I had to pull a different side of my artistry out.
