Sweet Reads: A Good Way To Start The Year With These January Book Releases

Welcome back to Sweet Reads, in which we try to convince you to check out some new book releases of that month. YAAAAY! One of the best things about a new month is the new book releases we have been looking for. However, this one is definitely fascinating because the books we will talk about are the first releases of a new year, and you know what they say: how you start the new year is how you end it. And luckily, we are starting this year in a very sweet way, thanks to January book releases. We don’t want to keep you waiting any longer, so let’s start!

Even her dad, who raised her since the mom left, doesn’t support this huge dream of hers, so that’s pretty rough. As a result of this lack of motivation, Millie decides to find her mom. However, things can get messier when you try to move forward with the new pieces you have found in your past.

The Kindred By Alechia Dow

We have already reviewed this sci-fi book, and we loved it! In the book’s setting, Qadin Kingdom, everyone has a Kindred mind-pairing, with no status difference. For example, Joy lives a simple life, but her Kindred Felix is a Duke. This is precisely why the plot is so excited because they are two completely different mind-pairs with entirely different lives. After Felix’s family gets assassinated, Felix gets accused of his family’s murders to win the throne. Still, him being in danger means Joy being in danger, even though she has nothing to do with the situation. So what will the duo do? You must read the book to figure it out!
