Winnetka Bowling League is back with their EP, pulp! We’ve been longtime fans of Winnetka and are so happy the EP has finally dropped. pulp consists of five songs, with two collaborations that we never expected, but are so thankful for. To celebrate the release, we have compiled a few of our favorite songs (current and past) that we think deserve to be on your Spotify Wrapped playlist for 2022. Get ready to get up and dance!
‘fiimy (f*ck it, i miss you)’
We could not start off this list without mentioning the iconic track, ‘fiimy.’ The track was released as part of the pulp EP and features stunning vocals from Demi Lovato. We did not know we needed Winnetka Bowling League and Demi on a track, but we are so glad this happened. ‘fiimy’ is such a stunning song and Matthew Koma and Demi’s vocals are unmatched. They blend together so well and make us want to become a blanket burrito and have the song on repeat on surround sound.
‘barcelona’
Another collaboration on the pulp EP, but we could not not mention it. ‘barcelona’ features Sasha Alex Sloan and the way the vocals harmonize together? Beautiful. Just like in ‘fiimy,’ Sasha and Matthew have voices that compliment each other so well that we just smile through the entire song. Don’t believe us? ‘pulp’
The title track from Winnetka’s newest EP is one that will force you to get up and jam. This section of lyrics describes THP to a T: “She said I like K-Pop and pulp in orange juice, That says a lotta cool things about you.”
‘Congratulations’
Although this is the title track from their 2020 EP, this does not exclude it from the list. It still deserves to be on your Spotify Wrapped for this year, so what are you waiting for? Go stream it!
‘CVS’
Another banger from the 2020 EP, Congratulations. When Winnetka releases music, they really don’t miss. Also, we are still obsessed with the music video! Watch it below.
