If you’re anything like us, you love all things music. One of the things we love most about music is finding all the latest up-and-coming artists and these lovely ladies need to be added to your playlists ASAP! Make sure you add them to your stan list before they take off, because they will!

Erica Manzoli is a 21-year-old songwriter from South East London who has just released her stunning debut single, ‘My Best Friend Is My Therapist.’ Written in lockdown in 2020, her single reflects a time when the only regular communication she had was with her therapist. After releasing a 30-second clip on TikTok, the single was met with an amazing reaction and we can totally see why! The song is honest and raw with beautiful melodies and gorgeous vocals.

I think a lot of people felt the same way over lockdown and it was amazing to realise my honesty resonated with people. It really encouraged me to continue to open up and be vulnerable as I want people who listen to my music to really know me.

If her socials are anything to go by, Erica is a girl after our own hearts. Positive and sweet, but also in touch with her emotions and not afraid to put them into some beautiful songs. We’re also so here for the funky fashion sense – so cool! We can’t wait to see how Erica follows up ‘My Best Friend Is My Therapist,’ but you can stream the stunning single here while you wait! We have a feeling she’s one you’ll want to keep your eye on for 2022!

little luna

Another female artist who has just released an incredibly strong single is little luna. ‘under the wave’ can only be described as whimsical folk-pop. The song reflects on her fluctuating state of mind during meditation. Alongside developing her music career, little luna has been teaching yoga and meditation for seven years, directs all of her own music videos, and drops a yoga flow video with every song she releases. She also offered a guided meditation via her Discord server to celebrate the release, how cool is that? We’ll be joining next time to find our zen.

Not only is little luna an absolute girl boss, but the song has also been co-written by another, Sierra Deaton! The two seem to have a magical partnership as this is the second song we’ve heard from them, following the release of little luna’s ‘last time.’ We hope we get to hear more from them in the future because we love the vibe of this single. Her debut EP, through the self, will be out on April 29th, and this track will be on repeat until then!

Maya Lane

We’ve been dancing ’round the kitchen to Maya Lane’s latest single, ‘Still The Same.’ The Londoner has just dropped the music video for her debut single. Maya has smashed it out of the park with this beautifully crafted song with a heart-felt message. After the last few years, we could all look for the good in the hard times. It might have a deep meaning, but the instrumental and uplifting vocals give us the feeling that everything’s going to work out okay.

Maya may only be 18, but she’s coming out of the starting blocks with some music heavyweights supporting her! The rising star co-wrote the song with Jonathan Quarmby, who you may recognize from writing hits with the likes of James Arthur, Lewis Capaldi, and another fierce female artist, Natasha Bedingfield. No biggie then!

We can’t wait to hear more from this Gen Z boho-chic queen! She has an EP coming out later this year, so keep your eye out because you do not want to miss this!

Ari Dayan

Love a bit of anthemic moody pop? Ari Dayan is the artist on the rise for you! Coming straight from LA, Ari has just dropped the music video for her latest single, ‘Undeserving.’ In the video, Ari recreates the looks of four iconic, persecuted, misunderstood women from history. It totally captures the themes of jealousy, regret, and rage in the song and leaves you a little unsettled. We love artists that make their videos so cinematic and the historical element reminded us of Halsey’s If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.

Channeling influences of Stevie Nicks and SZA, Ari is carving out a career for herself as a powerful songwriter. ‘Undeserving’ is the final piece in Ari’s three-single collection with her previous releases ‘One Hundred’ and ‘Good Reason’. Get adding these to your playlists ASAP!

Lea G

Last but definitely not least on the list, we have the lovely artist Lea G! Born and raised in the mountains of Austrian, Lea scored a top 40 hit on the Austrian iTunes Charts with her debut single, ‘Tired Of Your Talking.’ It doesn’t look like she’s planning on slowing down anytime soon, as she’s just dropped another dreamy single with ‘Deeper.’ The track really captures the feeling of falling into love, and tbh, she’s got us falling in love with her and her vocals.

Not only is she an incredible songwriter, but she’s also an activist! In 2019, Lea released ‘Future: The Climate Song’ in support of the student-led climate crisis movement Fridays For Future. The single led to her performing all across Europe in support of the movement. We can’t wait to fall even ‘Deeper’ in love with Lea and we’re sure you will too!
